Insulation Supervisor - Hartlepool

Altrad are currently looking for an Insulation Supervisor to join the team at Hartlepool for the upcoming outage.

The work pattern for this position is, Monday – Friday, 38 hours. This is a fixed term position which requires CTC clearance. Starting 2^nd November 2026 until 26^th August 2027 approx.

The position is paid under NAECI agreements. Pay rate: £24.43 per hour

Key Deliverables:

• To understand the Altrad Health and Safety policy and ensure the policy is adhered to by all employee under their Supervisory control.
• Demonstrate effective communication, discussing working methods and safety risk assessments via pre-job briefings.
• Communicate with the Altrad technical/safety department to determine adequate safe systems of work.
• Identify and escalate any significant risks to health and safety of employees or third parties who may be affected by any Altrad operations.
• Assess tasks and work areas in preparation for Risk Assessments and Method Statements to be compiled.
• To supervise employees under their control, ensuring the tasks are being carried out correctly and safely in line with Altrad procedures.
• Monitor and maintain good housekeeping, ensuring work areas are kept tidy.
• Attend planning meetings, both Altrad and the client.
• Report to the Site Manager daily, communicating operational updates, progress of planning of work under their supervisory control.
• Report all Accidents and Incidents to the Site Manager immediately.
• Monitor employee working hours & timesheet completion
• Carryout weekly/ Monthly/ Annual Statutory inspections of workshop machinery.
• Measure Insulation requirements prepare order requisitions.
• Sharing ideas and Innovation for change with the Site Manager on a regular basis.

Key Requirements / Qualifications:

• Knowledge and understanding of Thermal Insulation, (NVQ or City & Guilds)
• IOSH Managing Safely
• CCNSG Safety Passport
• Thermal Insulation CSCS Gold Card Card holder, desirable.
• CTC Clearance
