Role Purpose:
- Deputise for the Head of MEH Project Office
- Provide stakeholder management support to the Head of MEH Project Office, including; The preparation of Board Papers, presentations, etc. for Shareholders, project executives and senior managers .Assisting in the planning and organising of visits
- Support the management and coordination of the MEH Project Office
- Drive the successful implementation of the MEH’s Digital systems
- Oversee MEH’s compliance with overarching company requirements
- Undertaking MEH compliance activities
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Coordination:
- Deputise for the Head of MEH Project Office as required, relating to programme oversight, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and coordination.
- Support the leadership and daily management of the MEH Project Office, ensuring consistent ways of working and effective integration across the programme.
Stakeholder & Executive Engagement:
- Provide high-quality stakeholder management support, including preparation of Board papers, executive presentations, briefing materials, for senior leaders and shareholders.
- Plan, coordinate and support executive visits, programme reviews, and senior-level engagements.
Programme Management & Governance:
- Maintain & keep up to date the MEH PgDD
- Ensure effective compliance with governance processes, programme controls, and assurance requirements across the MEH Programme
- Drive the successful implementation of the MEH’s Digital systems
- Oversee MEH’s compliance with overarching company requirements
- Undertake MEH compliance activities
Key deliverables:
- Maintaining & Updating the MEH PgDD
- Inputs to Board Papers and executive presentations
- Pulse report updates
- Improvement plans & action trackers
Key Requirements:
- HNC or relevant experience.
- Project management qualification (e.g. APMP, CMI, Prince 1/2)
- CCNSG safety Passport / HS&E MAPS
- Experience working on complex, major infrastructure projects, in a senior management or leadership capacity
- Experience working in a matrix organisation, with a proven ability to manage and co-ordinate others outside of their direct line management to deliver required results
- Experience in developing and improving organisational capabilities (including the implementation of transformation and digital strategies) would be highly beneficial
- Knowledge of business leadership and strategic decision making is important
- Skilled communicator with significant experience engaging senior executives and influencing outcomes.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to distil complexity into clear, actionable insights.
