Civil Construction Engineer - Whitehaven

Key Deliverables:

• Take ownership of defined work packages throughout the construction cycle, from planning to handover.
• Apply Construction knowledge to Design early, mitigating issues and change before on-site construction work commences.
• Coordinate construction reviews and generation of work instructions, installation sequencing, and method statement documentation.
• Utilize established or develop new construction methodologies and procedures in line with company standards.
• Assist subordinates in problem-solving and prioritize activities to meet objectives.
• Liaise with customers/stakeholders within the construction scope.

Key Requirements / Qualifications:

• Experience in Civil construction supervision for over 3 years.
• General IT skills, planning, and project management proficiency.
• Minimum 3 years of involvement in engineering or construction management activities.
• Knowledge of UK/EU laws and regulations applicable to construction tasks.
• Construction installation engineering and/or management experience.
• Familiarity with CDM 2015, Temporary Works, Nuclear Contracts, and related knowledge.
• Professional qualifications such as ONC/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering Discipline.
• Experience of new build construction activities
